CPC (Cardiopulmonary coupling) sleep quality assessment assessment system developed by the American institute of Rey BID medical center at harvard medical school, is based on ecg signal of Cardiopulmonary coupling technology, mainly analyzes the relationship between the heart rate and breathing rate,extracts normal sinus rhythm time series and the respiration time series derived from the ECG, then calculates the degree of coherence and the cross spectrum of these two signals using the Hilbert-Huang Transformation (HHT) technology, the two kinds of signal degree of coherence and cross spectrum power generated during sleep cardiopulmonary coupling dynamic spectrum, thus sleep staging results and determine apnea, distinguish between the central type and block type.
